Overview
SZ series conical twin-screw extruder gearbox is a special transmission device matched with conical twin-screw plastic extruder. The gearbox is composed of a reduction box and a distribution box. After the motor power is decelerated and increased in torque, it can be output to the distribution box, and then driven by a pair of small conical helical gears with a 1:1 transmission ratio in the distribution box. (The angle between the two shafts is the same as the angle between the two screws), which drives the screws to rotate in a different way.

● The working environment temperature is -10℃~+45℃. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the lubricating oil should be heated to +10℃ before starting.

● The lubricating oil used in the gear box is N220~N320 medium extreme pressure gear oil.
● The gear box and distribution box are cooled by circulating water, and the temperature of the cooling water is not higher than 30℃.
● The two boxes should be installed on a plane with the same height. When the outer spline of the long shaft of the distribution box is inserted into the spline hole of the output shaft of the gearbox, check the bottom surface of the two boxes with the ground nut loose. The gap between the installation planes should be properly adjusted if necessary to ensure that the output shaft of the gearbox is coaxial with the long axis of the distribution box. After the installation is completed, manual inspection is required to require flexible rotation between each component and no jamming phenomenon.
● The coaxiality of the screw and the output spline shaft of the distribution box directly affects the life of the distribution box gear and bearing. During installation, the spline sleeve should be removed and the dial gauge should be used to check the radial run of the spline shaft, and the screw should be checked with a feeler gauge. Whether the contact with the end face of the spline shaft of the distribution box is good, and the error is eliminated.
● During operation, if there is overheating of local bearing parts, or abnormal noise, it should be stopped for inspection and run after troubleshooting.
